36th Annual Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair

April 14, 2018 - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair (GVRSF) is the annual competition for 10 school districts in the Lower Mainland, encouraging over 100,000 students in grades 7 through 12 to conduct creative inquiry-based projects.

The 36th Annual Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair will be held from April 12-14 in the AMS Student Nest at the University of British Columbia. Aside from competing with some of their brightest peers for awards, students will have the chance to present their work to the public, tour research labs at UBC, and enjoy fun student activities. Top projects are selected to progress to the Canada-Wide Science Fair, held in Ottawa in May 2018.

The GVRSF is run by the GVRSF Society, a federally registered charity with the mission of promoting project-based science and encouraging youth to conduct research and experimentation in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

Explore projects at the 36th Annual Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair during Public Viewing at the Great Hall in the AMS Student Nest from 9am to noon on Saturday, April 14th, 2018.
