DETAILS 

This research talk will feature Dr. Gerald Morris discussing dual receptor T cells, and the unexpected contributors to the post-transplant T cell repertoire.

Dr. Morris received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and MD and PhD degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He did his post-graduate training at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, completing a residency in Clinical Pathology, fellowship in clinical histocompatibility and transplant immunology with Thallachallour Mohanakumar, and post-doctoral research in T cell alloreactivity with Paul Allen. In 2013, Dr. Morris moved to the University of California San Diego where he became Director of the clinical Immunogenetics and Transplantation Laboratory and established his independent research laboratory studying T cell biology related to transplantation.
