The 2019 Biotechnology Networking Night will be an event that brings together BCIT and UBC students, alumni, and professors, as well as employers from various biotechnology-related fields for an evening of networking and career-building. Food and refreshments will be served. Through this event, we hope to help students gain a better understanding of the advances in biotechnology, develop valuable connections in the industry who can provide guidance or potential co-op opportunities, and to bridge the gap between the Microbiology and the Biotechnology program. This event is being organized by the UBC Microbiology and Immunology Student Association (MISA) and the UBC-BCIT Biotechnology Club.
