Heart + Lung Health FEST 2019

The 11th Annual Heart + Lung Health FEST will be held on February 7th & 8th at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver. The theme for this year is Luxury of Questions, Need for Answers. Together with trainees and staff, they will deliver this year’s cross-cutting program which is under the guidance of four major subthemes: Sex, Gender, Age – Heart + Lungs, Heart + Lungs – Basic/ Translational Science, New Tools & Platforms – Help for Heart + Lungs, Special Opportunities – Help for Heart + Lungs.
Built on dialogue, expansion of viewpoints and ideas, and good cheer, the annual Engage Heart + Lung Health FEST provides an incredible opportunity to engage and learn alongside professionals from all relevant heart and lung domains. In the past years, FEST has set a standard for excellence, and FEST 2019 will be no exception. Hosted by the Institute for Heart and Lung Health, FEST 2019 will offer participants the opportunity to hear from top experts, present their posters, network with like-minded professionals, and celebrate successes in research and knowledge.
Students, residents and fellows are invited to submit a poster abstract. Poster presenters are always a highlight of FEST and provide a great opportunity to present ongoing research, to celebrate success, and expand one’s network of learners and friends.
