Ribowest 2017

The Western Canada RNA Conference, RiboWest, brings together RNA scientists from across Canada and the northwestern United States for the purpose of disseminating current research and providing an opportunity for trainees to present their work. Presentations at the meeting have covered a wide range of RNA topics, including transcription, RNA processing, translation, viruses, genomics, bioinformatics, etc.
Program:
Talks and posters will cover a range of RNA fields such as:
– RNA structure/function
– Transcriptomics
– RNA metabolism
– Ribozymes
– Riboswitches
– Ribosome function and regulation
– Translational control
– Bioinformatics
– Genome editing
– Proteomics, etc…

Talks will be selected from submitted abstracts. All abstract submissions will be presented in the poster sessions.
There is still time to submit an abstract for a poster!

Please register and an email will be sent containing instructions for abstract submission.
RNA Society has provided funding for Ribowest 2017 travel awards for trainees. The Ribowest travel awards will be selected from submitted abstracts (due March 15, 2017). Awardees will have the opportunity to present a talk on their work.
