Science & Values Café

What defines people’s belief systems is complex and personal. How do we maintain open, evidence-based dialogue with those who hold different worldviews than our own in a respectful and constructive environment? Come join the Science & Policy Integration Network (SPIN), in collaboration with Vancouver-based science communicator Alan Shapiro, for an interactive workshop and share your thoughts and experiences with us. The information we gather will be used to help us create resources and tools to support more open and evidence-based dialogue within our community.
When: June 14th, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Room 3402, Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health at the University of British Columbia (2215 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver BC)
