Women-in-Science Workshop

This interactive mentoring event explores how to recognize and overcome potential implicit or explicit career barriers. By taking a proactive approach, we will discuss practical strategies that early career scientists can use to advance their professional development in academia.
The workshop includes career development talks by Dr. Dominque Bergmann (Stanford University), and esteemed UBC professors, Dr. Vanessa Auld and Dr. Lacey Samuels. Followed by an open panel discussion and Q&A with Dr. Laura Parfrey, Dr. Rachel Germain and Dr. Abel Rosado!
